We take care of this for you with our Virus Protection service. This service will automatically protect you from fast-spreading email viruses by scanning your incoming email for viruses before the email even reaches your computer. All you have to take advantage of this service is to turn it on.

Leveraging a worldwide virus-tracking network operated by the Internet virus leader, you can be automatically protected from fast-moving email virus outbreaks. Once a virus is detected, you'll be immediately notified via email that a virus-infected message has been quarantined in your private, web-based Message Center. You'll be able to safely view the contents of the message at no risk to your system or your data. Once you read the message, you can simply delete it.

Since 80% of computer viruses are distributed by email, Virus Protection Assistant is the most convenient and affordable way to be protected from the ever-increasing email viruses. Please note that this service does not guarantee that you will not get any viruses on your computer, as email is only one way in which you can become infected.


HOW IT WORKS:

Stealth includes an important feature not widely available in the e-mail systems that are on the market today. If someone sends you a message that includes a virus our system will identify the problem, quarantine the message and notify both you and the sender of the problem. This works just as effectively on outgoing messages.

Currently when you receive an Email it is only scanned for viruses after you have brought it into your computer. This is not the safest time to scan a message because there is the possibility that your program will not catch the virus and you will install it and cause damage to your system. Some of the currently available web based Email systems say they scan for viruses but for various reasons they do not automatically scan the messages and it is very possible for you to install a virus sent to your account long before they are introduced to your computer. You will receive an activation notification with instructions on how to access your Message Center and how set up junk email filtering and virus protection.

Once you have set your filters, your email will begin to pass through Stealth's automated filters that detect suspected junk email and viruses.

Suspicious email is directed to your personal, web-based, password-protected Message Center (it does not arrive at your computer's in box). Think of this as a quarantine area. In your Message Center you can read the quarantined email online, delete it, or deliver (forward) it to your in box.

Initially you should visit your Message Center often because it "remembers and learns" from your interaction. As time goes on you will be able to rely on the periodic notifications of your Message Center activity.

You can chose to "block" specific senders; meaning email from them will always be filtered. Or you can "approve" senders; meaning their email will always be delivered.
This service is completely controlled by you. You decide whether to activate the service, how you want your filters set, and you can change or deactivate your filters at any time.
