"Outlook 'MIME segment vulnerability causes Outlook to "see" viruses that DON'T ACTUALLY EXIST in an E-mail.
In this case, a mail client (or mail server virus
scanner) that properly decodes the E-mail will not see an attachment causing
Outlook to incorrectly see an attachment.
MIME is very complex, and even leading mail server manufacturers often have
troubles handling MIME segments properly. We know MIME and encoding schemes
inside and out and our systems can handle the most sophisticated MIME segments

New viruses using this type of vulnerability, will bypass a standard mail server
virus scanner, delivering it to a recipient that assumed they were protected!

Our IMail server handles all the SMTP protocol ( verification, authentication etc. as normal) Our Stealth Virus system only gets involved when it gets called on to process the E-mails, decode
the attachments, and pass the attachments back to Imail to be sent on it's way if safe.

Stealth Virus scans all mail, because all mail goes through our SMTP IMAIL server.
Users don't have to change anything, and can't accidentally set up their clients
to bypass the scanning which happens in typical mail server based virus detection. As such, our Stealth Virus gateway gets a chance to scan the attachments.
